Remembering Heidi

This blog has been created to celebrate the life of Heidi Hoffman (Stewart). We are currently in the creating phase, but please feel free to come visit often and share a special memory, funny story, or simply leave thoughts for the family.

The word beautiful barely describes my Heidi. I can't think of any adjective that would describe the beauty of my wife's personality, apperance, LOVE for me and everyone else in her life. She showed a LOVE that was the closest to what Jesus showed, during her life. What made the LOVE she gave to all possible was her LOVE and close relationship with Jesus Christ whom saved her and saves all from their sins if they accept and receive the gift of salvation. The sins that eternally seperate us from GOD with out a relationship with Jesus Christ. Her legacy is the many that are mourning her seperation from us, and the many people who saw and sought after the LOVE they saw and received from Heidi. I ask that you look at yourselves and if you are not saved by Jesus, to look at Acts chapters 1 and 2 and then follow the apostle's example.

I want to thank everyone on behalf of the Stewart and Hoffman families that made the funeral a beautiful tribute to the wonderful life my sweet Heidi led. I will miss everything about her until I see her again in Heaven. I also want to thank everyone that offered or gave help to the Hoffman and Stewart families. There are no words that could truly describe how greatful we are to all of you.

Thank you,
Josiah Hoffman

How hard it is to go back to day to day life. My best friend is no longer able to call me, to send me notes, to hear what is in my heart. Of coarse, I have so many things that I wish I would have said....
But no regrets in terms of our friendship. I will continue to think of her and what an example she and her family has been to me. My BF.... My God Given BF.
How I miss you and love you. Heidi, I hope you don't mind and I hope it doesn't bother you that I continue to talk to you...as I hear the song "wish you were here" and KLove....and the songs you were so happy to sing with me at our last visit....
I love you so much. I'm so happy you are at peace, just missing you so much.

Thank you, Heidi, for being my hands in class when I couldn't use my own hands. Thank you for taking notes for me in the classes we were in together at MCC.

Heidi was a great person and great friend. Although we have not seen each other in several years, I have many great memories of her and our times at Camp Wabashi in Indiana. I am in shock as I just read tonight that she is gone. I do know that she is a much better place. My thoughts are with everyone in her family and who loved her!!

I was proud to be a fellow social work major with Heidi, eventhough I was a year behind her. All those Dr. Noah classes!
